CK:PAP during the SDCM congress
Representatives of the ITS Autonomous and Connected Vehicles Competence Center took part in the 17th Congress of the Automotive Industry and Market organized by the Association of Automotive Parts Distributors and Producers.
Megatrends are phenomena causing changes on a global scale. Automotive, like few other industries, will be subject to dynamic transformations that will affect all players on the market – from tycoons to the smallest companies. Experts at the Congress of Industry and Automotive Market, which took place on October 12-13, 2022 in Warsaw, talked about megatrends, i.e. what to expect and what to prepare for.
The event is organized by the Association of Automotive Parts Distributors and Producers and is a cyclical meeting of industry representatives, where the most pressing problems, issues and legislative issues are discussed, important from the point of view of entrepreneurs operating on the Polish automotive market.
The expert discussion was attended, among others, by representatives of the ITS Autonomous and Connected Vehicles Competence Center (CK: PAP) – an expert institution carrying out tasks supporting the work of the government, in particular the Minister of Infrastructure, in the field of autonomous vehicles. Małgorzata Pełka, Deputy Head of CK:PAP, as part of the panel “Autonomization of transport and other technological challenges and Polish law” discussed the progress of work on changes to the act on electromobility and alternative fuels carried out by the Ministry of Transport and the role of the Center in this process. The discussion also included the position and problems of entrepreneurs presented by representatives of Aptiv and ZF.
The CK:PAP expert also talked about the legislative workshops organized by the Center, aimed at developing proposals that take into account the position of the Polish authorities, as well as companies testing technologies that automate driving in Poland. During the panel, the representative of the Center also invited to participate in the next edition of the workshops, which will be held on October 27, 2022 at the Sound Garden Hotel in Warsaw.
