CK:PAP at International Mobility Days 2025
Representatives of the Connected and Autonomous Vehicles Competence Centre (CK:PAP) – Aleksandra Rodak and Monika Ucińska – took part in this year’s edition of International Mobility Days 2025, organised by the Austrian Federal Economic Chamber. The event, considered one of the most important international meetings dedicated to modern mobility, brought together experts, business leaders and public-sector representatives from across the world, creating a platform for showcasing innovations and exchanging knowledge in the rapidly evolving transport sector.
The participation of CK:PAP provided an excellent opportunity to establish valuable contacts with organisations and companies working in the fields of intelligent transport systems, mobility digitalisation and technologies supporting autonomous vehicles. Discussions held during networking sessions and B2B meetings made it possible to present the Centre’s activities in the context of European initiatives and to gain insights into technological trends that are expected to shape the industry in the coming years.
An important part of the programme was the series of study visits organised on 21 November. As part of these visits, CK:PAP representatives toured the facilities of Magna Steyr and ENGEL, where they were able to observe production processes first-hand, learn about advanced vehicle engineering practices, and explore technologies used in modern automation systems. These meetings provided a deeper understanding of the practical aspects of implementing innovation in the automotive sector and offered a valuable extension to the knowledge gained during the conference discussions.
During International Mobility Days 2025, participants also focused on topics such as mobility data integration, infrastructure development for autonomous vehicles and the use of artificial intelligence in traffic analysis. The insights derived from these discussions, combined with the experience gained during the study visits, can significantly support the development of CK:PAP’s competencies and inspire new projects and analytical tools.
The event also provided an opportunity to promote the Centre’s work internationally and to strengthen its role in the European dialogue on the future of mobility. The knowledge, contacts and observations gathered during the event will serve as an important resource for ongoing work on projects related to autonomous and connected vehicles and for further collaboration with external partners.
