On 2–5 September 2025, the International Conference Transport of the 21st Century took place, serving as an important platform for the exchange of experience and presentation of achievements by national and international scientific and research institutions. The conference aimed to integrate the academic community and to outline key directions for the development of transport in both technical-technological and organizational dimensions.
The Competence Centre for Autonomous and Connected Vehicles (CK:PAP) actively participated in the conference proceedings. Professor Marcin Ślęzak, DSc, Eng., Head of the Centre, took part in the plenary discussion “The Vision of Future Transport”, where, together with representatives of the Vistula University of Finance and Business, the Office of Rail Transport, the Solidarity Transport Hub, and the Maritime University of Szczecin, he discussed perspectives on the development of transport with particular emphasis on autonomous vehicles and electric vehicles.
Dr. Małgorzata Pełka, Deputy Head of the Centre, delivered a paper on the assessment of the effectiveness of practical training in the use of advanced driver assistance systems among elderly drivers, which received considerable interest from conference participants.
During the conference, the results of the National Competition for the Best Implemented Innovative Solutions in Transport were announced.
