We are pleased to announce that the Łukasiewicz Research Network – Automotive Industry Institute (PIMOT) has joined the group of Partners of the AV POLAND 2025 conference. Experts from the Institute will be actively involved in the scientific program of the event. During the thematic session titled “Technical and Social Challenges in the Implementation of Autonomous Vehicles – Research Results,” a Łukasiewicz – PIMOT expert will present outcomes of R&D work on automated and autonomous vehicle technologies, the development and evaluation of perception systems for object detection, as well as the latest representative findings on public acceptance of this technology.

Starting from 1 January 2026, it will be officially possible to use vehicles equipped with conditional automation functions, the so-called SAE Level 3, on public roads in the Czech Republic. This is a milestone towards automated mobility and a clear signal that Central Europe is taking the development of autonomous technologies seriously.
