We are pleased to announce that the Łukasiewicz Research Network – Automotive Industry Institute (PIMOT) has joined the group of Partners of the AV POLAND 2025 conference.

🔬 Experts from the Institute will be actively involved in the scientific program of the event. During the thematic session titled “Technical and Social Challenges in the Implementation of Autonomous Vehicles – Research Results,” a Łukasiewicz – PIMOT expert will present outcomes of R&D work on automated and autonomous vehicle technologies, the development and evaluation of perception systems for object detection, as well as the latest representative findings on public acceptance of this technology.

As part of the static demonstration, conference participants will have the opportunity to become acquainted with an automotive research platform designed for data collection from roads, as well as the implementation and testing of autonomous systems. The platform is used in R&D projects in which the Łukasiewicz-PIMOT team develops technologies for perception, localization, decision-making, and control systems. It was also employed in the first autonomous vehicle tests conducted on public roads in Poland, which took place in Jaworzno in November 2023.
