CCAM meeting

On March 25, 2025, in Brussels, the representative of the Connected and Autonomous Vehicles Competence Center (CK:PAP) Dr. Eng. Mikołaj Kruszewski took part in the networking meeting of the CCAM (Connected, Cooperative and Automated Mobility) association and the CCAM thematic cluster meetings. The aim of the event was to discuss the assumptions of projects that will appear in the upcoming Horizon Europe competitions, in September 2025 and early 2026. These competitions are aimed at engaging a wide range of contractors.

The meeting was divided into sessions and discussions could be held in many thematic tracks dedicated to individual competitions, where representatives of the CCAM presidium could address questions regarding the topics of individual projects. In many areas, it was possible to additionally determine what falls within the scope of the commission’s interest and what will go beyond this area. Similarly, this form of discussion allowed for the verification of ideas and proposals for solutions that individual companies can bring in the context of compliance with the competition theme. In addition, each session offered the opportunity to sign up for the list of project stakeholders, along with an indication of the role that a given institution can play in this area. The Motor Transport Institute reported its participation both in the context of a data supplier for models and algorithms – e.g. by using the measuring station developed as part of the DARTS-PL project and in driver testing using the simulators laboratory.

The entire event was concluded with a series of panel discussions, where participants focused on better use of research results by involving public entities – cities and transport operators – in projects. Discussions in individual thematic tracks aimed to determine preferred solutions that can contribute to greater social acceptance of the introduced ITS (Intelligent Transport Systems) and autonomous driving.
